Tekken 8 has been very divisive in its reception by the long time Tekken players and with good reason. I wish it was still a bit...normal looking. Too many GD visual effects.

This being said, these control settings were really outdated. I'm glad they added in options to make it more bearable.

Exactly my experience. There are some anomaly fields you can't get through unless you're either in the exact right spots.

And that's the Platinum done too.

I did not choose to do this and rather cleared most of an area before moving on. However, weapon types are important for dealing with all threats and obtaining them is not locked behind main story progression. So as soon as you are able to, go obtain all the weapons first and then progress normally.
