Although we truly wish that we had been in the States to protest today, we did spend the day telling everyone we met in Oaxaca, Mexico that 47 has to go. We will NOT accept a king or dictator in the U.S.!!!! Now more people in Oaxaca understand what “8647” means.

In today's chapter of "47" Ways to Ruin My Retirement, a black hawk helicopter flew past my kitchen window again. This militarization continues to intimidate good people and waste billions of tax dollars all for nothing. This I know because I live here: THERE IS NO MIGRANT CRISIS AT THE BORDER!!!

In today's chapter of "47" Ways to Ruin My Retirement, our breakfast was interrupted by another wasteful spectacle. My friend sent me this from her house which is several miles from my house, but still in Rio Rico, Arizona. The photos came from my house. (We are in Santa Cruz County, AZ.)

My husband and I each drove so that we could have two cars in the parade. We also participated in the Santa Cru County car parade in the morning, so yesterday we covered a lot of miles!

Tips:
Clean car w/ water before using painter's tape.
Make sure that there are no air pockets underneath the posters.
I tied ribbons on door handles & they were fine!
My posters went over the raised ridges on my doors, and I pressed the tape and posters down into the creases so that no air got in.
