And it allows them to give far more polished presentation. The animations and designs are beautiful, whereas the Telltale engine was creaky as shit by the end of their run.

The moral choice system was always the biggest selling point.
Dispatch replacing the adventure gameplay with the more robust management mechanic revitalise things. You get more agency in how things play out. Hiring and firing in-story actually impacts how you play the game.

A key part of why Dispatch works and feels fresh in a post Telltale world is ditching the arbitrary graphic adventure gameplay. Being able to move your character around an environment to find objects doesn't play into the strengths of the format, especially when the puzzles aren't good.

I'm enjoying Dispatch so far. An original superhero story with Telltale style storytelling and a This Is The Police core mechanic is tailor made for me. Aaron Paul is great in it, too. Can't wait to play the next two episodes tomorrow.

Won't lie, I got emotional when this song appeared in DS2. I'm so glad Kojima kept some of Low Roar's DNA in the soundscape of this world. It meant so much to me in the original game.
