Please stick around until the end, it's worth it. I was fooling around asking Google all sorts of sci-fi world building questions and it occurred to me. I don't know how widely known this is, but while atmospheric pressure at the planet's surface is a crushing 900+ atmospheres, which is also twice as hot as your oven, (unless you have that insane pizza oven you can put on your countertop that gets up to 800°f) the atmosphere of the planet Venus behaves much like ours in that as you increase altitude, pressures and temperatures drop until they equalize with the vacuum of space. What this means for us is that where the pressure falls to one Earth atmosphere (14.7psi) in the Venetian atmosphere, it is coincidentally also Earth temperature and because the atmosphere is so buoyant, people want to put floating habitats in the clouds of Venus. I have often thought about this, but today I have also come to the realization that it is likely Disney will still be around then and just as likely that they will still own the Star Wars IP and that the Star Wars IP appears to be evergreen. This tells me that if Humanity can survive itself for the next hundred years or so, there WILL be a Cloud City themed Disney theme park in the clouds of Venus that capitalizes on the undying appeal of everyone's favorite Star Wars movie, The Empire Strikes Back.

Just curious as to what @menezescracked.bsky.social thinks is the 1st 007 film, as he implied that License to Kill is the 5th. Technically, the 4th movie was written before the book, but LtK is the 16th Broccoli Bond film and 18th overall. (Casino Royale'67 & Never Say Never Again are non-Eon films)

I worked on my sudoku game I'm building in LittleBigPlanet 3 this weekend. I built a sans serif font, upper and lower case. I also started working on the start menu. It has polished minimalist visuals, basically just the board, some text and the provided backdrop. Oh, and a working Clue(do) board.

I don't really game as "DreadRandal" anymore, so I changed my LBP logo, which will have a similar version for Restitched. When I was messing with the letters "F" and "l", they sort of looked like an "A", making it look like both "Flu" and "Au", so I leaned into it and colored it gold.

Rewatching Fargo: Season 5.
It is a CRIME that I can't convince anyone to watch the best 10 episodes of TV that I have seen in YEARS, & I've seen a LOT of shows & movies this year. You will HATE John Hamm & Jennifer Jason Leigh... & Juno Temple deserves an Emmy & Golden Globe. She's now on my radar📡

IDC if it's 🌌🔭 inaccurate, I was the dad of a baby girl when it came out & the father daughter arc of this movie imprinted on me, making Armageddon one of my all time favorite 90s movies. It's trying to be Star Wars, not Star Trek. Suck it, NASA. Even rife with science errors, it's a great movie.

I was curious & listened to new Skid Row... I also looked to see if they took Sebastian Bach back in. Nope. He has his own new album and while theirs is where I expected them to be (something for diehard fans to appreciate), Bach's was surprisingly better, something I'd actually put on a playlist. 🤷🏼‍♂️
