Alt: Amazing, truly worth the 8 year wait. Sure there was a decent amount of backtracking through area for the side quests (I did all of them) but I didn't care, I was having too much fun. The characters are charming and lovable. The story is great, so twists and turns I was not expecting at all and yes, the whole time travel aspect of the game actually works and fits within the established story and lore, especially once every comes together by the end. The combat is basically the same as the Cyber Sleuth games with the addition of personalities for the Digimon and being able to more freely customize your party's movesets and that's okay! No reason to completely change the combat system if it already works. Overall, I enjoyed DSTS a lot. The Cyber Sleuth games may hold a more special place in my heart, but Time Stranger rises just barely above them in terms of my objective feelings.
