Haven’t thought that deeply about it, but that would be a better idea at least. Maybe having them a year before midterms would be more beneficial. At the very least get them away from partisan elections.

This is why I’m no longer a believer that having ballot propositions for our policies (abortion, weed, etc) during partisan elections are good for us. It allows cons to have their cake (vote for cons) and eat it too (vote for our policies)
