It's easy to sell stupid people on simple quick fix solutions. The fantasy was that they thought it would stop immigration. The flood gates truly did open after brexit, so they were scammed to suit the agenda of bullyonaires instead.

I have a theory that he gave Elon that black eye after he fucked his wife. Seems like he was a loner at school who ate glue and would bully anyone who would let him get away with it. He's living in a military base to avoid protesters, what a hernia on humanity.

I hope it is too late for any of the Republicans to "unsign" their vote as that's the easiest way for them to prevent the release of the files. Maybe this is why the Dems caved on such a bad deal because they needed Grijalva's vote urgently. The Dems released the emails today, there's still hope!

It's better than fact-checking or censorship, but you could just disagree with someone and hit 'distrust' regardless of factuality. With Groundnews, I think they use AI to compile the same stories from different providers whilst giving them a factuality rating and summarising the bias.

Adam is doing pretty well at debating all these MAGAts. It was good that he paid no attention to her repetitive obvious attempts at deflecting, but he could've half addressed that at the same time as proving his point. Otherwise, you're just 2 people shouting 2 separate conversations

I love Bluesky, I follow independent professionals with less BS and trolling. The best qualities of Twitter were separated into this. It's fair to say that it's a bit one-sided, but it's a tradeoff when most other social media is toxic. I hope the massification doesn't happen too quickly either!

I could feel my narcissism stocking up on this fact. Then I instantly got deflated when I found out that this is based on a myth from 1942. Technically, it is still true if you add in specifics like comparing a 3fingered motionless sloth(max 15mins) to a bottle nosed dolphin(8-10mins)

I'd be surprised if he even lasted another 3 years. Between him maybe getting impeached, folks starting to starve soon, his obvious age with hidden diagnoses, the Epstein files, and whatever else - It wouldn't be optimistic to say that something is going to catch up with him soon enough!

The scotus shouldn't even dignify this case. I'm willing to bet this is being pushed by the heritage foundation and they will always double down on ID politics because how else will they ever be able to keep enough influence?
