Lot of people don't seem to realize that retreat is not surrender and doesn't actually mean you're considered out of the fight. You're a legitimate target until you formally surrender or are too hurt to fight.

Depends on which one you're talking about and where it is at any given time. The True North Pole is in international waters, so is the Magnetic North Pole, but I think the Geomagnetic North Pole is on Ellesmere Island currently. But the two magnetic ones move.
