Space, football and freedom: I will not trade any of them
The US approach to Canada is eerily similar to Russia's to Ukraine. Let's be vigilant.

I'm a huge space fan. I watched no less than 200 Falcon 9 launches on stream, and considered getting Starlink.
Now watching Starship Flight 8 next week will feel like cheering a V-2 launch in 1944.

Exclusive: US could cut Ukraine's access to Starlink internet services over minerals, say sources
Ukraine's access to SpaceX-owned Starlink was brought up in talks between U.S. and Ukrainian officials after Ukrainian President Zelenskiy turned down an initial proposal from U.S. Treasury Secretary Bessent.

"Each one hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last. All of them hope that the storm will pass before their turn comes to be devoured."
Winston Churchill, 1940

Remember this when you think Putin will settle for some territory in the Donbass.

Denmark's Defense Intelligence Service assessed that Russia may have the capabilities to launch a full-scale war against NATO in the next 5 years, which is consistent w/ ISW's assessments about Russian efforts to restructure and prepare its military and society for a future conflict w/ NATO. (1/3)

Today is Munich 2.0. Differences btwn Czechoslovakia and Ukraine's betrayals:

1) In 1938 it was Britain, in 2025 is the US
2) Munich 1.0 happened during the time btwn peace and war. Munich 2.0 btwn war and a bigger war to come.

As of today, the US is officially on the side of autocrats.

@anderspucknielsen.dk, best analyst out there, super polite and very cautious in his assessments, is clearly shaken by Trump's first 2 weeks. He (correctly) sounds the alarm; we better wake up before it's too late.

Please watch this, it's worth your time.

The US is now an openly imperialist power trying to take over neighboring (or not) countries, with legislative and judicial branches that bow to power, ruled by oligarchs and the whims of the dictator.

When people start falling out of windows, just call it Russia and we're done here.

American friends (the ones left):
You were always accused by the Commies of being imperialists, racists, gangsters, extortionists, militarists.
I took your side in many such arguments.
Now your President is confirming every single one of those tropes.
What am I supposed to say now?

I'm done being polite.
Somebody that subscribes to this piece of garbage's social media please tell this imbecile on my behalf that Canada will never, ever become part of the US. He will wreck our economy, but we prefer to eat grass and walk naked in our winter than bow to this moronic bully.

Just had a look at Twitter to see reactions to the Canada annexation thing...
Shocked to see the combination of brazen ignorance, boorishness and outright idiocy of a vast amount of people over there.
Be warned: being nice doesn't mean we're submissive. It's actually the opposite.

Did you know BlueSky only has 20 employees?

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to those 20 warriors (who are working 24/7 to keep up with the incredible growth) for giving us a space to share.

We escaped hell to be here.

Thank you, @bsky.app & Jay Graber CEO (not a billionaire)

In October 2022, it was said that NATO and the US were destroying the Russian army without firing a shot (thanks to Ukraine).
Now, in November 2024, with pro-Putin groups making gains in Romania, Slovakia, Germany, USA, etc, it almost feels like Putin is destroying NATO without firing a shot.
Awful.

Great, finally... but:
- 11 days after the election
- 2 months after NK troops first spotted in Kursk
- 2 years after Iran started supplying weapons to Russia
- 3 years after the Russian invasion
And I hope that this time, no stupid restrictions.
