This is a stupid argument. Reminds me of "Defund the Police"
Of course we want to prevent autism. Just like we should try to prevent nearsightedness/blindness, hearing impairment/deafness, depression/mental illness, tooth decay. Obviously we should provide robust treatment as we seek to prevent.
