I've been down to 5 mg before with methotrexate and ivig but when I tapered to 4, cks elevated. I feel better with cellcept. Good luck!

DM as well. Diagnosed 2013. Prednisone, imuran, and IVIG then pred methotrexate, iVIG, now Prednisone, cellcept and IVIG. Never off Prednisone. Down to 5mg with normal CKs at last infusion. This seems to be the best combination so far. Fingers crossed.
