I ain’t no tramp, I’m a floozy. Also I hate Larry Hogan. Also my first watch through of Gossip Girl. Follow for my unfiltered thoughts. XOXO
In recap: it was a great collection of classics and new movies that I’ve been wanting to see and glad I had the time and space to do it

Some of her choices felt on par for what I imagine an MI6 agent would make now that i think about it. Would definitely watch again

Thursday Murder Club- 8/10- very good movie and brilliant performances. Love a good mystery movie. The mysterious of Helen Mirren’s character was alluring in a way where you didn’t feel like you truly got to know her. Her relationship with her hubby was beautiful.

Spinal Tap- 8.5/10- very silly and my type of humor. Loved the very low stakes of the movie. It’s a good movie to watch again cause of the quickness of the jokes that can be easily missed. Love Christopher Guest movies and will rewatch again. Also rest in peace Rob Reiner

The end scene was iconic and imagine that many movies in the 80s weren’t talking about abortion at all (I may be wrong). I also found Johnnys speech at the end touching and watching it sparked such a joy in me hence the 10/10. Will be a movie I watch 1-2 times a year. Rest in peace Patrick Swayze

Day 2

Dirty Dancing -10/10- I love a good dance movie and never seen the OG dance movie. Patrick Shwayze and Jennifer Grey were phenomenal dancers in it. The dialogue was fine but didn’t really need too much there. I loved that sensual dance seen between Frances and Johnny really well done

New Knives Out- 9/10- fantastic movie and story and the acting was fantastic especially the priest. I liked how this movie switched up the storytelling element of the previous two. I liked a good mystery movie and this one did not disappoint. Will definitely watch again (soon!)

Two changes : should have done something with the Gladys having Justine’s hair and the sticks in water snapping the kids out of the trance. It was curious that the parents and children seemed stuck in that place when Gladys died. Probably won’t watch again cause it’s a horror movie but enjoyed it

Weapons- 7/10- I like a good multi narrative story and how we learn about each way the characters are a bit shitty (Paul and Justine mostly, not including Alex) was a nice touch. Not a horror fan usually but enjoyed it. I enjoyed how they told the story.

Angels in the Outfield: 5/10- watched it for nostalgia as I watched this frequently as a child. it is a movie meant for children. A star studded cast and a wild end game pitching sequence (never would throw 150+ pitches and we learn he’s going to die?!) no need to watch again

I should try that. I was more talking about when they chose to play them but would also love to not see ads

Medicaid for All would be much better in terms of coverage than Medicare though any universal health care would be better than what we have now
