I am really contemplating doing something that would probably be considered very stupid right now. But I am so over it and wanting to move on to the things I want to do and have been saying I would do for decades.

I started printing today! Can’t wait to play with binding it and then getting into the editing process. I technically have two copies of the first 54ish pages, one for me and one for friends/beta readers to look at. Because, after all this time avoiding sharing my work, I want others to read it now.

I finished my second draft!

I hit my word count goal for my novel draft early but I have a good handful of chapters still left to write. It is looking like I might surpass 100k by the end of this draft. We are almost there! Can I do it in 5 days?

Today was a really productive writing day. I am getting way closer to my finish line of 95k words but I definitely think finishing the novel will go over that, considering where I am at with chapters left to write. Regardless, progress is being made!

Been a sec since I updated my writing progress. I may try and write a blog post soon just for a little something longer too.

But I have been making good progress and my favorite thing is when writing and the characters and scene go a completely different direction than planned. 🥰

I like when chapters take a turn in direction I didn’t intend. Some beautiful moments happen.

Daily Word Count: 432 words (not great but there is still time in the day)

Few days not doing any writing and now I need to get back to it. Minimum goal to stay on track is only 650 words, but I want to finish this chapter today.

Day two of writing. Finished the chapter. It ended up being way longer than I anticipated. But I think it sets up some things later on.

I want to finish this chapter today but the words aren’t coming as much as I hoped they would. But at least I am getting some of it written.
