Unfortunately, you still have to plan ahead. I have driven from central CA to SoCal and I still can't rely on finding a charge point whenever running low, like you can with gas. Especially near Bakersfield.

I have an EV and I love it. But driving in the western US is frustrating with the lack of charging stations and lines you have deal with due to the lack of charging stations. I'm looking forward to the day when charging stations have the same prevalence as gas stations now a days.

If they don't identify themselves, for all you know, this is a legit claim. How is one supposed to know that masked, unidentifiable, armed marauders are ICE versus a gang? You basically have an obligation to call the police!
