Today we are having a farewell fellowship for our church pastor, retiring after 20 years.

We're clearing closets at the Taylor household and uncovered this gem from February 2007: my debut as a convention GM in nearby Princeton, IL. I ran three different games that night. The third session was cut in half because a snowstorm was forcing us to shut down early.

Just completed Meacham's Thomas Jefferson The Art of Power. Strong insights into how Jefferson expanded the power of the executive branch to meet each crisis confronted by the young nation.

I do a lot of grilling. Even when the weather isn't so nice. I'll post about books I've read, activities of the family, crafts and photography and my contributions to the tabletop roleplaying hobby. Work and politics: not so much.
