Falling down stairs shattered more than just my body. Doped up on oxy, trapped in the cold void of hospital recovery, I painted a man shaving, his eyes swallowed by darkness. A ritual of control, of cleansing. After trauma, do we truly wash it away or just carve the illusion of normal? #ArtFromPain
