Today on Troy's Hot Take Tuesday, a happier take: I've noticed a decline (or disappearance?) of the 2000's trend in customer service where the agents are are made to take an American sounding name like "John" or "Andy"... when that's certainly not their name. Let the peoples be who they are.

Just got home from #MoulinRouge musical. I will be mourning this tragedy "until my dying day". I don't know how someone could completely destroy one of my favorite movies with my favorite pop songs? The cast was stellar. The design was great. The writing and music was a murder.

My brother, who lives on the opposite side of the country, (almost) always visits in the fall to clean my garage. 🤪

Saw #Frankenstein last week in the theatre. It is good. I found it a little slow, but it feels intentional and is pretty much an "art film". I wasn't bored. I've never read the book, but this has a very different framing from the story I'm familiar with so now I'll have to read the book and see.

Earlier this week I jacked up my voice while rehearsing for my show this weekend at the Queer Mercado. I've been wanting to peform on their stage for over a year, and was supposed to in Sept, but that got booted til tomorrow. I had to cancel & it's like my 3rd gig & I'm already a diva. I'm so upset.
