Confirming you're funny as you claim in this episode; "...old ladies will slip you twenties for stuff like that." Priceless, and a big reason Carstuff remains my number one podcast.

Not cool. This was cross bred with an E-Type 2+2 to spawn the 1st gen Panamera. To your point, both of those had sixes.

Totally agree and now it's running on at least 3 nostalgia networks. Barretta and Starsky & Hutch also brought some gritty LA car life.

This one is really tough. That side window profile and notchback shape is an odd combo. Closest I could find is an Opel Rekord C Coupe Sprint and aside from being implausible, even that's not an exact match. Cool though.

The mother lode; a finned Buick wagon, a Continental, a C10, and a Bonnie(?) all in frame with the Mustang. Reed is blocking but maybe a Malibu, and the Lincoln looks like a short wheelbase coupe. I think Malloy's personal ride was a Mustang in early seasons, before he got a big Matador 2 door.

And the State Farm bumper sticker. Wonder if they still send one with every new policy.

The Manta and the GT (another kammback!) both wore this design language very well.
