If you follow me on Farcebook or Instascam, I am (hopefully) noticeably absent:

Truth or dare:

Do we really want low paying marginally skilled jobs and the pollution that often comes with them coming back to the US?

Lower gas prices--if it means living next door to a refinery?

What some (most) of us want is for the Chinese to stop counterfeiting US goods and copying tech

Diplomacy requires a certain amount of tact, something THIS administration clearly lacks. China responds with levies of its own, sending stocks into another tailspin. But the rhetoric took a personal turn as Beijing called out Vice President JD Vance for his reference to Chinese peasants. Smooth.

"Businesses have filed hundreds of requests in recent months to the US Trade Representative for exemptions on China tariffs for machinery needed to set up US production lines and that they say cannot be sourced domestically."

(from Bloomberg)

...and these exemptions: Who or what donors get them?

Rubio says ‘economies aren’t crashing, markets are crashing.’ What a relief!
He will later explain how folks who WERE relying on 401Ks and IRAs that ARE in equities are just imagining problems and every thing will be okay as long as we give billionaires more tax breaks--or something like that.

The robot that takes your job: Will it pay taxes or pay into Social Security?

Medicare Advantage. A joke IMHO I'm paying for services that aren't actually available.

In 2025, (we) estimate that Medicare will spend about 20 percent more for MA enrollees than it would spend if those people were enrolled directly in FFS Medicare, a projected $84 billion difference,

Ratcliffe denies Signal chat leak was a huge mistake?

Is the implication that someone inside this administration is deliberately trying to expose the gross incompetency and lax security--maybe even undermine the Mango Moron?

More headaches for Tesla? Chinese automaker BYD unveiled a line-up of electric vehicles that it says can charge almost as fast as it takes to refuel a regular car. The new battery system allows for 400 kilometers of range in just five minutes of charging—that’s quicker than anything else out there.

EPA chief Lee Zeldin announced the potential gutting of environmental and climate protections implemented by the Biden administration. The proposals line up with the Heritage Foundation’s far-right Project 2025 and came amid a series of EPA rollbacks likely to kneecap efforts to slow global warming

Wondering about the shit quality health care you seem to be getting?

"The US health-care system spends as much on billing and claims processing as it does on treating cancer—around $200 billion a year. "

Now there's something DOGE SHOULD address--or will that cut into corporate profits too much?

The nonstop bots and trolls on other social media sites?

Your first clue that most of us see through their BS and a desperate attempt to convince us of the righteousness of "their plan" --which seems to be divide, conquer and then empty the coffers

Awkward. Apparently Wall Street is letting us know how they REALLY feel about Shitstain and Doughboys policies

Keep up the good work my friends.

You have friends that drank the Kool Aid?

"Musk’s companies are set to add $613 billion in value since the election and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has built a new dynasty on Wall Street as he hands control of Cantor Fitzgerald to his sons."

from Bloomberg

So much for draining the swamp..

Most of us more or less already saw this coming: More largess for the Billionaire Boys Club

The muskrat is now on his 13th attempt to (choose one)

A. Prove his sperm is not defective
B. Improve his parenting skills
C. Address overpopulation by having more children
D. Prove that women find him and not his money attractive

13 children--by how many different women? I detect mad parenting skills-- with him spending tremendous amounts of quality time with his children (when he is done running the country into the ground)

Just kidding.

Wagers on how damaged emotionally those children will be?

Elon Musk, embarrassed that he cannot make money without government contracts or subsidies, insists Open AI remain a non-profit.

Recipient of billions of dollars in federal funds, Elon Musk, will determine if he has any conflicts of interest in policing who gets federal funds.

And Mexican drug cartels will report to the police every time they break any laws. Honest!

I cannot help but be suspicious of the generally milquetoast response from elected leaders. It speaks volumes about who is wholly owned by corporate America--and the "budget trimming" makes it easier to hide the next round of corporate tax breaks and subsidies

...and if you thought Wall Street ever had your best interests at heart:

"... a venture capital-backed startup was accused of illegally jacking up rents for furnished apartments in Los Angeles—more than 50% in one example—after last month’s wildfires."
