I'm not only continuing to buy Canadian grown and produced food, I'm also shopping much less at Loblaws, and avoiding the purchase of their PC and No Name products. I try to buy from local farmers and butchers, bulk stores for grains, dried fruit and nuts, baking supplies, peanut butter, etc.

Coun. Lachica now explains that this program makes Peterborough a home for artists in the area and makes it special. She adds that it costs the same amount to administer $25k as it does $50k for EC3, so it just makes sense. Riel says "this money here is a small token for the arts community."

I have to assume that the mayor and majority of councillors don't read? Do they live under a rock? I know they have no imagination but good Lord! Link to free article and there are so many more out there pointing out the unsustainable water and energy consumption of data centres. And for what!? 🤑
