#bicycle #cycling #recumbent #catrike #visionzero #BikeCommuterCabal I enjoy advocating for pedestrian and bicycle safety. It is no crime to go somewhere without a car!

@trouble The smallest kernel of the thing I want to write is this:

Had a very good experience today asking Copilot "See this accessor for a database row? Do the same thing for that database row that is almost exactly the same."

It did a great job.

@b0rk I think there's something more general that makes this hard in many aspects of programming: the systems didn't tell you why it didn't work. So people change things at random until it does, then call it done. Like turn off firewall features until your thing works (and your IP camera is now […]

@b0rk remember that ipv4 used to only be class A (/8), class B (/16), or class C (/24). Variable netmask did not exist yet.

@sellathechemist @AppleWoi then I would suggest a good soaking, then sometime with pressure to flush out the grime. Wd 40 or even hot water can do the trick. Note that sometimes the sorting gets accidentally bent, so it might need bending back if it's a lack of force problem but doesn't sound […]

For the inside of the bushing, I can clean by pushing a rag through with a […]

@moira I had a similar failure for an internal plastic latch on an igloo cooler. I placed it on the flatbed scanner and scanned it, imported the bitmap into cad, extrude, and presto! instant replacement part.

@ifixcoinops Rheem heat pump water heaters in the US are designed to be hooked up to ducts. Feel free to build your own duct system. But it doesn’t work as well as one would like since one is constant draw, the other is intermittent. Also, efficiency comes from only creating a minimal […]

@moira does a magnet pull any extra particulates out?
