This is so dumb, even by this President’s standards. If SNAP is that wasteful and being handed to anybody who asks and not based on need, why would he ever negotiate over it? It’s so obviously wrong, independent of the court rulings.

So if he has in the past and/or currently does harbor support for Nazis, then the campaign will surely be a good opportunity for that to be exposed. Because someone who is genuinely like that will have left more skeletons along the way. Until those get dug up, I’ll reserve judgment.

You can support Graham Platner despite his past mistakes because purity tests result in an empty tent political party. That is how we’ve become the minority party. Provided he has grown as a person, that is human and acceptable. The campaign will render a verdict on that.

The seat of government for Canada is in Ottawa. Like D.C. is not where I’d live in the U.S., I’d pick Vancouver or Toronto.
