If a joke, why not at least say so instead of the "I'm not a puppet, you're a puppet" response? Like, "Blue sky can't take a joke lol" and leaving it at that would have resolved it.

I mean, I think your denial would be more effective if you explained why, in your telling, you referred to yourself in the third person and why you were complementing yourself in a follow on post.
