Methodology:

• The intention is to be faithful and accurate to what actually exists in nature (semi-realism).

• Use of specific illustration techniques for each chosen biome.

• Consultation of reliable references to ensure biological and visual accuracy.

Objective:

The objective is to use different techniques, combining manual and digital methods, to illustrate scarves with original prints of animals and plants found in Brazil.

The techniques chosen depend entirely on the chosen biome and its history (example: Cerrado and woodcut).

Material:

Cotton cambric:

A super soft and lightweight fabric that is perfect for scarves and has good durability and quality. Since the theme is nature, it wouldn't make sense to use viscose, which often damages it with chemicals, or polyester.

Note: Sustainable viscose exist!

Theme:

To value Brazilian biomes through surface design.

To immortalize flora and fauna through surface design and original art.

This theme is relevant because both are currently threatened by humans and climate change.
