Emanuel: China's basically found leverage; they're applying pressure, and they're doing it to soybean farmers. Our farmers have lost that market, are out a huge amount of money, and could see a lot of bankruptcies in the rural parts of the Midwest.

I have been waiting to see if it's real and now it seems to be confirmed - this new white house isn't providing ASL interpreters anymore, not even for emergency info. These people don't care about access. I hope the NAD sues quickly.

Just a reminder that Christmas has transformed into a huge capitalist consumerism extravaganza. Marketed as a season of joy and happiness but only offers a fleeting sense of sentimentality for many which then causes depression and loneliness.
