They need to give examples where the play is being mishandled, because nothing is sticking in terms of calling it "unfair". So they're looking the other way on clear false starts and fumbles so that the NFL Network can beat into your head how unfair the play is all week.

Completely. And it's not impossible to overcome that but it requires a change of scenery to reset (think Nestor Cortes last year for the Yankees). If he comes back here it'll be forever linked to him.
