Who is going to do the work it takes to run a government? Wouldn’t a shutdown make the mass terminations simpler? All jobs could go away, all at once. Then, pals and goons would appear and all services would be privatized. If this sounds crazy, that’s true. And, what? You think it won’t get crazier?

I hate that the Senate DEMs swallowed a poison pill. But, a shutdown would utterly free Trump to finish the coup. An insane guy could declare Dems illegal & block entrance to the Capitol. I fear we had to cede this battle to keep the government alive to fight like hell and win the war for sanity.

This is where I am. Same for my family and friends and neighbors.
