I looked up "no face spider" because I found this guy in my room with a pattern that looks likr No Face and got jump scared with pictures of the "Ogre Faced Spider", which doesn't have ears (contrary to my search parameters)
A spider with a back pattern that kind of resembles the character "No Face" from Studio Ghibli's "Spirited Away." It is trapped under a glass on a bright pink envelope. Deinopis, also known as net-casting spiders, gladiator spiders and ogre-faced spiders, is a genus of net-casting spiders that was first described by W. S. MacLeay in 1839. Even hope house, our relaxed crisis/detox house, was shut down, and now we have nothing. The point is that we don't even have options. I have a thread about this on my profile not too far back if you want to look.
What is replacing Hope House for crisis receiving and stabilization services? Bozeman Health opened psychiatric emergency services (PES) in December 2022 to provide a therapeutic environment for individuals experiencing acute behavioral health needs. The PES area is located adjacent to the emergency department. Patients in behavioral health crisis complete a medical check at the emergency department before moving to PES for therapeutic support from a multi-disciplinary team. The Gallatin region does not have community-based crisis receiving and stabilization services. This gap means we do not have a place to divert or step down from higher levels of care. GBHC is applying for funds to conduct a regional feasibility study to determine how we can fill this gap sustainably.

We are ranked FIFTIETH, right above Wyoming (which has very similar problems to Montana), and Utah is 46th. Utah has the most wilderness retreat programs in the country, and ranks highly in "access to care" stats, but if you actually look into it, it ends up meaning nothing. (3/)
In May 2022, 35.5% of adults in Montana who reported symptoms of anxiety or depression said they needed counseling or therapy but didn't receive it in the past four weeks. This is higher than the U.S. average of 28.2%. In 2023, Montana had the highest rate of mental illness in the United States, with 25.76% of adults reporting any mental illness and 6.75% reporting a serious mental illness.

Different thread made me look up mental health treatment stats for Montana. Many of them said that we are the 4th best with access to mental health care with the amount of treatment facilities per capita, which is a SHOCKING statistic to read if you've ever dealt with treatment options here. (1/?)
Other states with enviable mental health care include Montana and Illinois with total scores of 2.17 and 3.55, respectively. Montana has 25.79 mental health treatment centers per 10,000 businesses and 23.71% of adults with a mental illness have delayed treatment due to cost. In Illinois, only 6.3% of adults with a mental illness are uninsured.

I'm a film student, so I don't have a lot of pics of my tangible art, but working in a lens-based media, I have some lens-based art. Here is some of what I do.
