Legitimately, Chaos characters are so cool, because most of the major "villains" of the setting are tragic heroes that the setting (or nurgle) wouldn't allow to die. Most other fiction would have to write a segment where they look in awe of their mistakes and perish. Instead, we get daemon princes.
