He / Him

I have no original opinions.

I play games sometimes
The original Fate VN (or their adaptations if you dont want to get into all that but the VN is better,) Hollow Ataraxia, and Zero are the three best things to come out of the franchise. Samurai Remnant is great. Extra has its moments. Everything else is hit or miss, with a lot more misses imo

I don't know what this means but I feel like you should go to jail for saying it

Hell yes. So excited to hear your take on some iconic scenes. I know you're gonna kill it.

No, no, they're onto something. It'll change your life. (Not in a good way)

Imagining Rin trying to figure out how to use a computer when she realizes the secret to achieving the Root is hidden in a cooking blog

I feel out of the loop. What's the deal with the white lion?

It's atmospheric

I cannot recommend them highly enough. Its a soap opera pretending to be a martial arts movie pretending to be a crime drama.

If you check them out, definitely look into streaming them if that's not too big of a time commitment. I'd definitely tune in. Would be really cool to see your thoughts

I'd say the Yakuza / Like a Dragon franchise. Every one of those games was a wild ride, and without fail, made me an emotional train wreck.

If it's first playthrough I'd recommend warning the tieflings. No spoilers, but you lose a lot of content if the Grove falls (including up to 3 party members) and can more then make up for the missed Astarion approval later.

That said, that just means more replayablity later if you do go that route

Pretty similar tastes in games. Add in Bioware RPG's for me and they're almost identical.

Big into cooking and baking as well.

Anime tastes are a bit different from my own, but still solid picks across the board.

Cool to find so many people with similar tastes!

I don't know why my phone kept capitalizing Vita

Shout out to the Playstation TV, which was just a non portable VITA you could plug into a TV. Was also cheaper then a VITA at the time I got mine. That thing was a lifesaver when they were hard to come by, and honestly, I don't play games while I'm out enough to miss the portability.

My heart wants to say Infinite Wealth. The Like a Dragon / Yakuza franchise is literally my all time favorite. But Metaphor swept me off my feet.

I think I'd have to go with Re;Fantazio, but I'd be happy if either one of them won.

Friendly reminder that FGO is almost 10 years old now

Overall I'm very excited to try this out. As someone who loves the franchise, this seems like a neat way to basically play SMT with friends. Maybe when going through the rules more thoroughly and seeing it in action, the issues I'm seeing with it now will become less prevalent / make more sense.

Rules on roleplay are VERY light. Almost non existent. This is definitely closer to a dungeon crawler than a more roleplay focused ttrpg. Homebrew will be needed on this front.

Character creation is strange. I'll save more thoughts on this point until I can be sure I understand what I'm reading.

Combat mechanics look fine tuned and fluid. Pretty much as perfect of a conversion of the video games mechanics as you could hope for.

Unless I'm missing something, summoning demons is not an option. I understand combat could get bogged down. Still very disappointing.
