I think a lot of folks don’t understand this and are creating too much noise (hype) instead of signal around AI:
- ChatGPT was unprecedented
- We have precedent for great generative AI now
- o1, o3, Sofa, Veo, all has precedent
Precedent is never as “woah! zOMGWTFBBQ!!!11!!1” as the unprecedented.
