DC Mayor is such a joke... appeasing Trump in every way possible, even removing BLM plaza and then he still takes away $1B from her budget. She needs to stand up for the people of her city instead of sitting down for this administration

I can confirm as I am one of them. Dems should kneeling to this administration and get the dick out of their mouths finally. Vote "no" on this CR is the only right choice. Make them come back with something better. GOP controls the govt, it's such an easy win for Dems if messaged correctly

If you vote "yes" on this CR, then you might as well resign. Shame on you. Giving into a bully while throwing the country under the bus. I thought people from NY had a pair of balls and knew how to stand up to a bully. Apparently not. Utterly shameful.

You're a coward if you vote "yes" on this CR. Plain and simple. And this is coming from a lifelong Dem voter who never wants a shutdown. My family depends on a fed paycheck but having Trump run unchecked is scarier. Do ur job and listen to the people who voted u in, not what you alone think is best

What more power would that idiot have? Asking a serious question there. He's already doing whatever he wants. Shutdown the govt and rightly blame the GOP for it... anything else is further abdication of their responsibilities as an opposing party and elected officials.

The current bill that the house approved isn't bipartisan in any way. Only one way to vote on that CR and it's "no"
Once a true bipartisan plan is reach then the Dems should get on board. Don't let Trump/Musk bully or scare them into anything

"Blame it on the democratics" is a wild argument when GOP runs all of Govt right now... it SHOULD be pretty easy for the Dems to counter that argument if they try hard enough
