It depends on how you define‘propaganda smear campaign’. The definition depends on one’s perspective. It is difficult to find objectivity in the media these days, but all you need is to observe what people say and do.

Some people understand propaganda tactics and how to spot them. The tools of critical thinking and healthy skepticism makes it harder to manipulate people. Seems like I hear more hate speech from the current administration than the previous ones combined. Did Biden or Obama spew hate tweets daily?

I lived on the US-Mexico border for over 16 years. You would think seeing people being abducted on a daily basis would be common, wouldn’t you? It wasn’t. Yes, people were detained and deported, but they at least had due process. In case you were wondering, I haven’t been trained to hate anyone.
