They clearly never watched Doctor Who - Army of Ghosts.

Why does it feel weird that I'm older than you (only by a few months but still)?

->ending would have been better if Charlie was legitimately about to cross a line and would only stop by being talked down by Batman. This guy had to worry over his family's safety for two whole years and in his revenge he just spooks Joker a little? This is still a very strong episode.

8/10.

->being rather unremarkable. Why paralyze the cops when he could just as well have spread laughing gas to kill them? Also the action scenes are a little bit on the lesser side. Like why was that replica of an Aztec(?) temple equipped with full-on death traps? Did Joker do that? I also think the->

->mini-arc where he not only cleverly signals Batman but also gets his revenge on Joker, even sparking meta-commentary on Batman not killing Joker (even if it turns out Charlie wasn't even gonna kill Joker either). Pretty fun stuff.

The actual plot here is a little thin though, with Joker's plan->

->sort of crazy thing he'd go through with. The new characters of Charlie and Harley (hey that rhymes) are the big highlights here, even if Harley obviously hadn't been fully realized yet. Harley just doing little henchgirl things and shining in doing it was fun and Charlie goes through a whole->

I am gonna try to watch BTAS more often as I have slipped off it a bit, being busy with other stuff such as watching Doctor Who among other hobbies.

->flaws are not all that major and the character work and themes of drug addiction, vanity, identity and body horror are what make this story so strong. Also, Teddy Lupus was a really good side character, I liked him.

->dissonance but not in an eerie way, I just think he should have sounded a bit more monstrous. I also feel like there should have been more closure on Daggett other than him being arrested off-screen. Also how exactly did Matt get out of that shell he created without anyone noticing? Still, these->

->with the mass-transformation scene being the clear highlight. Now there are a few flaws here, Bruce being imprisoned has almost no bearing on the plot so why did it even happen, and while Ron Perlman is good I don't think his voice fits Hagen in his Clayface form all that much. There's a->

->Daggett's henchman a unique trait, this time it being that he's a germophobe, which Batman exploits in a good scene. The animation on Clayface here shines along with the character work, the scene where he confronts Daggett is fantastic and all the action utilizes his powers creatively->

->while Clayface has a good design, I think the reveal of him was a bit underwhelming. Could have used a slightly different direction. But this episode is still strong.

->played very well. Now the episode is a strong slow burner, but there are a few issues here. Like how did it take so long for Bruce to learn about the attack on Lucius and the police being after him? Also the way he interrogates Bell is kinda ludicrous, was there no easier way to do it? Finally->
November 9, 2025 at 7:11 PM
->stuff and the body horror they got away with here is pretty striking. You really feel for Matt despite him having a rough and narcissistic side to him and Bell is basically your typical James Bond henchman (a slimy second-in-command with a unique feature, in his case the headphones), both are->

->it is a rather poor story. I rate it a 4/10. I would fully agree with your ranking of the whole season though.

-Genesis: 10/10
-Ark in Space: 8/10
-Robot: 7/10
-Sontaran Experiment: 6/10
-Revenge of the Cybers: 4/10

I actually kinda like the Vogans in RotC although their civil war subplot is rushed unfortunately. The Cybermen's whole plan to send the TARDIS Team in with the bombs and then blow them up does work with the logical mind of the Cybers.

But other than that (and "HARRY SULLIVAN IS AN IMBECILE!")->

->and also I'm going off of if the story has an individual DVD release, which The Crusade doesn't.

And I finally decided on if it was a 4/10 or 5/10.
November 8, 2025 at 6:26 PM
And if you're wondering why Marco Polo and The Crusade are rated despite not having official releases, I watched the former on YT via a fan animation and I watched the latter on Internet Archive (reconstructed ep 2 and 4). Also I know The Crusade is on the S2 collection box, but I don't have that->
