Certainly a concern. I don’t mean to paint too rosy a picture. Rather, these companies hired people who believe in these ideals for years. Most of those people will not stop believing in them because the official policy is different.

Know that many, if not most, of the actual employees at tech companies hate these changes in policy and still plan on making decisions taking into account not only having white straight dudes.

I have never heard of a DEI initiative that said the candidates did not need to meet the requirements for the job and I’ve worked as a hiring manager in corporate America for the last 8 years.

I think given the democrat’s weakened state, they could’ve passed something in trumps hypothetical 2020 term to allow him to run a third time. Not really a point worth even discussing.
