Its trunk is impossibly wide, easily as broad as a small cabin, and deeply furrowed with thick, vertical grooves. The bark is a mix of warm reddish-brown and charcoal black, the latter likely from surviving past forest fires. Despite the scars, the tree stands proud and alive, a testament to centuries of resilience. At the base, a large hollowed-out section opens like a cave, big enough for several people to stand inside. This natural alcove is dark and smooth inside, shaped by time, weather, and fire. The air around the tree is cool and earthy, filled with the scent of pine needles and damp wood. A fallen log lies nearby, its surface soft with moss and decay, reminding you of the cycle of life in this ancient forest. Surrounding the sequoia are other tall conifers, their green needles forming a high canopy that filters sunlight into dappled patches on the forest floor. A simple wooden fence encircles the area, guiding visitors respectfully around the tree without disturbing its roots. The atmosphere is hushed, reverent—like entering a natural cathedral.

Rock City in Minneapolis, Kansas is a five acre park which contains about 200 huge Dakota sandstone concretions. The spheres are up to 27 feet in diameter and you are encouraged to climb on them and do pretty much whatever you want. Rock City claims that there is no place else in the world with so many huge concretions.
