But we totally forget this very important piece of Xena history!!! In season 5 Xena & Gabrielle were FROZEN in a COMA for 25 years, daughter Eve was a baby then became adult Livia the bitch of Rome. So minus the 25 years of coma then, Xena is only 30ish yo when she revisits the Valkyries stuff.

Even just the idea of a “personality disorder” seems so old timey and fake to me. Like I should have told her her ok next steps I’ll go to the Dr and ask them to give me an orgasm to get rid of my crazy

Like if I believed her I’d start telling myself my feelings and thoughts aren’t reasonable, and I struggle enough with that as is! Just what any neurotic girl needs, another reason to gaslight herself

I’m lucky bc I am 42 w/ a lot of therapy beforehand so I was mostly just like “ummm I don’t think that’s true,” I’ve been reading a lot about how young women are often misdiagnosed with it and it really messes them up for so many reasons- I’m so so sorry this happened to you

Six months of saying she was super comfortable with anger/rage, and the first time I got visibly angry - at myself! - she told me she felt like she was walking on eggshells and asked if I’d ever been diagnosed as borderline. It’s kinda fucking me up tbh

My Polish therapist! She’s very blunt and I love it
