In Toronto, the tiny houses are being replaced by McMansions and people expect to get one of those as a first home.
I bought mine in a very unfashionable area, and an older, shabby house. Mortgage was around 8% but I did weekly accelerated payments and 18 years it was paid off on a single income.

I am 4'-11" and have not worn heels for 40 years.
Always worked in "masculine fields". My dad, who was another under 5' feminist taught me how to stand tall.

My entire career ran on the "Guy economy" and I was very much a female Guy.
Most of us have retired now and I am told that the news corporation I worked for is missing our ignoring the "efficiency experts" since we were too busy getting stuff done.
