Huge thanks to Tarnerland for hosting me for their 'Santa & Songs' this afternoon 🎅

The nursery are doing some great work for local families, especially the disadvantaged. I look forward to seeing their new ideas for some of their space in the new year 🎊

With so many ideas💡for advancing community cohesion in the area, they have local councillors full support for the range of things they want to do

I also popped along to the amazing Sussex Peasant winter fayre at the Pepperpot for some local Sussex cheeses and their amazing pies 🧀 🥧😋

It was great to attend the Together Co. Winter Warmer ☃️❄️ 🔥 today with Cllrs Pumm and De Oliveira and our own Mayor Mohammed.

Bruno got a hand massage and we were all well fed, entertained, and met some wonderful new friends.

It was great to visit our supported living and drug harm recovery service at New Steine Mews with @chriswardmp.bsky.social this afternoon.

The team does extraordinary work to keep some of the city's most vulnerable residents safe under very challenging conditions

Today is World AIDS Day, a chance to unite and remember those lost to AIDS and to support those living with HIV.

I've just had a Lunchpositive to stand against HIV stigma and pledge to use my platform to push for action to end new HIV cases by 2030 in Brighton & Hove.

£51 million is a debt our council could do without. An avoidable waste and monument to failure. With the challenges our city faces, how this useless donut on a stick was ever considered a sound use of public money is beyond me.

The Trust for Developing Commmuniues are working with us and the NHS to deliver more community focused health interventions - this starts with forums to talk about experiences of health, care & wellbeing in the city, network with services and even check your blood pressure! ⚕️
