Congratulations to our new Mayor Dan O’Brien and Vice Mayor @freddypuza.bsky.social I look forward to collaborating with you all on our city’s and districts’ most pressing issues.

It was also a privilege to express my gratitude to Mayor @yasminemcmorrin.bsky.social for her dedicated service to the city over the past year—she led with grace, grit, and conviction.

This project was made possible through the generosity of the Goodyear Trust, fulfilling Greg’s dream of enhancing our athletic facilities. We thank trustees Andrew Furuto, Tom Salter, and Jason Grossman for carrying forward his vision.

His dedication was inspired by his father, Del Goodyear, a beloved coach and Athletic Director, for whom the CCHS gym is named.

Greg dedicated his life to Culver City athletics, mentoring countless students and opening doors for them to pursue higher education and athletic success.

Greg’s passion for Culver City sports, especially football, was unmatched. As Coach Cornell Myles said, “His blood wasn’t red—it was blue.”
