Perhaps Nozzle because it’s used to control the flow of the firehose into a useful stream.

Logarithm should use a ton of caching but I'll try to make memory usage minimal (perhaps via streaming) since loading all logs can be resource intensive on its own.

Stay tuned #logarithm

Something I am leaning into in Logarithm 2 is change diffing vs full replacement, to update the DOM on a status to status basis as opposed to replacing the entire container with a new DOM on every refresh which is both slow, but even more so it's not accessible.

Since this is open source and all, before I even release it I'll share a cool detail I added which is using HTML's native datalist's to make the username input smarter by caching all of the users on the network and auto completing them (JS is ofc used to not bombard html with all accounts at once)

To explain what I mean by the code being proprietary, the src is currently living in a folder on my website tristie.org, and because of that, it heavily depends on my websites CSS to function. Also all of the code is in one big HTML file, for both the parser and the client, so I hope to split it up.

You’ve been handed too much power

Wow I didn’t realize how interesting time notation is and now i kinda want to add A/O timestamps to stuff. I am curious though, how does relative time work (i.e. 5 minutes)

Been using the Cider (cider.sh) client for Apple Music for a few years now, because I don’t have a mac and iTunes hurts me, and it’s been a really solid experience. It is paid but the one time price of like $5 or something is honestly too small for what you get.

If it’s open source, and written in Gulf of Mexico, I’d love to contribute

Ooh this looks interesting, I for sure want to be notified when it's launched!

Is there a “Jerry no” feed and if so where can i find it
April 30, 2025 at 11:26 AM
Their website says something along the lines of we need $30m for a, b, and c but that’s hardly enough information. They would be more effective if they at the very minimum taught normal people about how atproto works / encouraged people to host their own pds/feeds/relays by building a community
April 30, 2025 at 11:14 AM
I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt, but unless they’ve published a transparent report on what exactly they plan on doing / allocating the money to then we’re in the dark

(if they have provided this i haven’t seen it yet but would be interested in reading it)

Hey welcome to Bluesky, I’m wondering how you found me since you just joined a week ago and don’t have very many following so there must be something I’m missing. Also drop your YouTube in your reply and I’ll check it out 🇨🇦
