I feel like ppl underestimate Zeyla. She's a big sweetheart and a little silly, sure, but she's quite confident (tho she loses some of her smugness as she matures) and skilled. She's an archer, swordsman, mother, and anthropologist.
So it feels kinda bad when ppl think she's soft or insecure.

I do have a Ship of Theseus thing where I then remade the character over and over again, changing things until I got my favorite OC, Zeyla, and idk if I should count Vahl as an early version of her or not?

Of course! Zeyla and Tory's wedding is a big one, and so was their first kiss on her birthday which is on their world's version of Valentine's Day.
There was also Zeyla's court trial and fajumin trials, if those count. Her fate was decided on those days.

I also used to draw topographic-inspired (I know is not great, hush) maps based on the local area of Book 2. I should pick it up again someday. It would take at least ~20 sheets of graph paper to cover the the entire eastern border of Sharai, a teeny lil weeny area on the big map.

I have bunches of maps! I love maps. But none of the entire world, mostly of the main continent and regions within it.

Oh yeah idk if I ever shared my updated character roster? It's far from extensive, but these are mostly characters I like RPing as (videogame, tabletop, just for fun) and some relatives of theirs, and ones I like doing photography with.

This is mine! I don't thiiink any are Mary Sues, idk if satyr count as anthro/furry, and I (probably?) only have 30+ if you count side characters in my books. If family trees count, I have hundreds.

I almost went with one of the most traumatic scenes in my book but figured this might be nicer for the morning ❤️ I use "ultimately" a lot apparently. Part of me wants to dial it back and reserve it for big things, but I also kinda like it as part of my style.

Daffodil plays the thighsnare, a stringed instrument strapped to her leg which she idly strums while standing or sitting. Mainly it's used to create background music for her storytelling, which she also enhances with little illusions spun with her other hand.
I haven't had it fully designed yet tho.
