I'm in the era of my #hair growing out where it somehow looks fantastic when I wake up but isn't long enough to have that many tangles.
Unfortunately, this is also the length that annoys me most because it's long enough I HAVE to do something with it but short enough I CAN'T do anything.

Saw stitching chisels make a row of holes
Realized a grid wouldn't be much harder
Long story short, I cross-stitched on a leather cuff to match the outfit it goes with

Yesterday was a low pain day so I enjoyed being able to fight at my #LARP.

I saw a picture of "Wandering 4-in-1 Chain," lost the picture, and recreated it from memory with steel and aluminum rings left over from my fiancé's previous projects.
It works great with my Wizard ensemble!

We buy from thrift stores for us, but Kid has specific texture sensitivities so he bought new-new clothes for the 1st time in ~3 yrs.
He is AGHAST at how much everything costs.
I watched part of his soul die as Kid's pants got rung up.

Put #bananabread in too late for it to fully bake before I had to leave the house.
Didn't want my house in flames.
Turned the oven off, left the lil loaves in.
Figured at worst they were already a loss, at best the oven would cool slowly enough to finish #baking.
IT WORKED!

Messed up.
Put #bananabread in too late for it to fully bake before I had to leave the house.
Didn't want my house in flames.

I tried to buy something off Etsy and the order was cancelled by the seller, with a polite message to let me know that they can't afford to eat the cost of the tariff hike, and they refuse to make their buyers pay an additional 20% of the item's cost just for a new tariff.

I love it when friends bring babies!
I love how new and perfect babies are.
I love whispering to them kind things they won't remember but their souls will know.
I love the relief in their parents eyes when they see that they have help.
