So many of us met Speaker Hortman in rooms like this- launching a doorknock on a weekday in Coon Rapids surrounded by Reps she brought along. She commanded so much respect by setting a monumental standard and setting others up to meet it. She is a titan of our state and will be missed💙

Good thing there is no precedent in recent memory of Dems doing this and having it go disastrously.

Imo the bigger issue is that established Dems are very visibly shrugging while simultaneously saying it’s never been more important to vote, which is both confusing and bad strategy

⚡️It appears they have little tented papers with the candidates names on them with taped off spaces in front of them. It looks like they are first placing the ballots in the stacks and then counting through the stacks 1 by 1 to verify⚡️
