American pedophila advocate & failed congressional candidate Nathan Larson emailed Rope Culture seeking support and signatures for a petition to allow white nationalist mass shooter Dylann Roof to run for a seat in congress. Larson died in custody in 2022 while facing child pornography charges.

Hello, Dylann Roof and I have been discussing via letters the possibility of his running for U.S. House of Representatives in 2020. We've been looking at the ballot access and residency requirements for South Carolina and Indiana (where he's currently incarcerated). It could take a significant amount of money (for paid petitioners) and/or help from volunteer petitioners to get him on the ballot, since it seems South Carolina would require https://www.scvotes.org/nomination-petition 10,000 signatures and Indiana would require http://www.in.gov/sos/elections/files/2016_Candidate_Guide_Complete.pdf about 3,000 signatures. So the question becomes, how to assemble the necessary funds and/or manpower? Can the WN movement muster the resources? More people were referred to Rope Culture (i.e. clicking a link) through Facebook than from any other website, including actual Nazi websites like The Daily Stormer and Iron March
