Whale Rider is a film about growing up and challenging the gender norms of society. It’s a beautiful film about a beautiful people. It’s hard to describe how important this film was to me when I first saw it, it let me understand my own family better as well as giving me a glimpse into Māori culture

The Fisher King was the first movie I saw where I understood that film could be funny, sad, and abstract. Robin is again one of My Guys™️ and seeing this performance around the age of 12 changed my perception of both him and acting

I have seen A Knights Tale at least a dozen times. An absolutely silly film about taking charge of your life and falling in love. Heath is one of My Guys™️ and I love watching him do comedy! We was a goofy Motherfucker and we’d all be better off to remember that

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace is near and dear to my heart. Jar Jar is the reason I started acting and comedy- my mum said if you like Jar Jar you might like Chaplin & I did. I later got to talk to Ahmed Best and thank him for that!
