There are 7 groups of nutrients acquired through foods:
~ Amino acids
~ Fatty acids
~ Carbohydrates
~ Vitamins: A, B’s, C, D2/D3, E, and K1/K2
~ Minerals: elemental compounds
~ Phytochemicals: bioactive plant compounds
~ Mycochemicals: bioactive fungal compounds

Eat a diet that includes them all!

Do you soak your nuts... seeds, grains, and legumes? All of these food groups contain anti-nutrients that bind to minerals and inhibit their absorption. An easy way to remove and neutralize many (not all) anti-nutrients is to soak these foods in water for 6 hours. Try it out and see for yourself!
