Getting close to finishing this painting. After a month of two family losses, I am slowly coming back to painting. It has been healing.

Happy birthday mom! 70! For my mom’s birthday today, I made this character study based on a character in my story named Mele. She is inspired by mom, who I look up very much. She is honest, beautiful, and does whatever she can for people. A good role model and friend. I love you mom. ❤️

My friend and artist Summer let me use her likeness as a reference. This is a character in my story named Lyndria. In the sketch, Lyndria is activating her tower for defense but it actually sends her and her tower into a temporal rift.

“NOW!”
This is a scene from Chapter Four of my story I am working on. The chapter is called ‘Surfacers’.
This was a weird composition but I embraced it and feel happy with where I have taken it.
Now I need to keep writing and keep making! I am feeling good about where this is all going.

This is a small sketch I was working on based on a scene from my story that I am working on. In this scene, Xan-I, Conjurer, and Silver Swan (operated by Charles) are on their way to assess the land of Xanropa.

This damn project is going to be complete if it kills me.

This is for a friend that I had the lucky chance of getting to know in grad school. This is a character study based off of my friend, Cotter. Cotter is a caring, intelligent, and funny soul. I wanted to honor him by having him be a protector and teacher to the civilians of the second vertice.

This is a painting based on a scene from the second chapter of my story, Xanropa. Entitled, ‘From One Mind to Another’ Thanks to James Welch for allowing me to use his likeness for this dear and amazing character. James is such an amazing human and artist.

Greetings! I figured this piece I worked on this week would serve as a good introduction post on Bluesky. Just as my character is looking at the anomaly in the sky, I too am going to try this platform out and see if I cannot make new connections. Cheers and love, Tristan Lindo
