Rode this some years ago as part of a multi day tour and discovered them, which was a nice surprise. Route is also part of the WW2 Taunton stop line which I found interesting. A lovely ride. Subscribed too.

I did ride the route that HG Wells describes in a lesser known book he wrote around the same time as WOTW.

I've reached out to you Anna, to register my interest in taking part in the ride. I met Tim at the 2022 cycle touring festival. A lovely man, whose travels were partly what inspired me to take up cycle touring again after many years break.

You've made me think about writing, but as hayfever is doing a number on me, that'll be enough for today!

Yep, and starship too, I think. Sorry, 80s rock band group, you'll have to take one for the team.

I'm going to spend some time on my New Forest marker post project, riding all 397 posts in order. Proper touring-wise, the Faroes by Brompton may happen if a work trip goes ahead in June.

It is a good book. I'm part way through and enjoying reading it slow.

My thoughts on prepping for disaster only go so far, and definitely stops short for worst case scenarios after watching Threads!

Ah, now I was thinking of getting one of these. Interested to know how you get on!

‘Twas Junig, and the slimy coves
Did grunt and gamble in the range;
All flimsy were the borisgoves,
And the remainants outrage.

5 years. What a screaming success it's been. Not.
