Last May, I said goodbye to my 16 year-old Lab. Though she was deaf & nearly blind, her spirit never dimmed. Our slow n short walks—nose to the ground, always curious. Her resilience and joy were a daily reminder to fully enjoy the time I had with her. I miss her deeply.

Last May, I said goodbye to my 16 year-old Lab. Though she was deaf & nearly blind, her spirit never dimmed. Our slow n short walks—nose to the ground, always curious. Her resilience and joy were a daily reminder to fully enjoy the time I had with her. I miss her deeply.
It’s been 48 hours since this sweet girl found us during our evening walk. She followed us for nearly two hours, and with no sign of an owner nearby, I decided to bring her home. She was clearly well cared for—clean, friendly, and easygoing—and we knew someone was missing her. #dogs
